Your home is your biggest assest; do you know your important homeowner rights?
Unfortunately due to others’ unethical practices in the roofing industry, needing your roof replaced can often be a scary thing as a homeowner. At Roof Link, we strongly believe in your important homeowner rights. We want to help you understand your rights when it comes to your roofing experience. We are committed to working our hardest to give you the best experience possible. Excellent customer service from our knowledgeable and friendly staff is what Roof Link offers every customer, every time.
Here’s a copy of Colorado Senate Bill 38 that outlines your rights when it comes to roofing. This is provided by the Colorado Roofing Association to assist homeowners who have hired a roofing professional to complete roofing services.
The bill was put into place to protect homeowner’s from door-to-door and storm chasing contractors that often had customers sign a “contract” without their knowledge. It outlines what makes a roofing contract a legal binding document as well as your rights as a home owner to be able to cancel or back out of a contract you’ve found yourself in.
Here at Roof Link, while we might be old school, hand-shake business people at heart, we know we live in a litigious world and our contract reflects everything required in Senate Bill 38. Three pages of contract for a roof would have seemed silly 10 years ago even, but we want to do our best to make sure our customers are well-informed and that we are doing our best to protect their important homeowner rights.
