Hail storms last year totaled our roof and most people in the area and I had no interest in the fly-by-night companies that descended on our town. It took a little time to investigate who the most competent roofers for our area were but RoofLink rose to the top fairly quickly. First impressions matter and Ike, the president of the company made a very good impression. Very savvy and knowledgeable, and appeared to have extensive experience with insurance companies, particularly USAA which is our company.
Winter was fast approaching with dropping temps and while roofs were going up all over the area, Ike agreed it would be best to wait until Spring with warmer temperatures to insure a better result. A little investigation into optimal ambient temps for roof installation by me had me scratching my head as to how people were being convinced to put up their roofs during this timeframe when temperatures were primarily in the low 40s at best and below freezing at night. A bad decision based on credible experts.
In any case Spring arrived and the roof went up. We were out of the area and were interested in getting the work scheduled just after we got back into town and Jenn from RoofLink was a joy to communicate with. Easy to work with and great follow up skills that made me feel very comfortable.
Ike and company seems to be pretty busy and while I had expected him to show up on site he was stuck in Ft Collins with some other jobs and couldn’t make it. Not to worry as Ike employs excellent people at all levels and a young woman named Brenda was the onsite foreman. Great attention to detail with excellent communication skills and follow up. It’s clear to me that more women ought to be employed in all trade positions and kudos to Ike for hiring one of the best.
I have no complaints at this point, only the complements I’ve written above. I heartily endorse RoofLink to anyone needing a new roof, a first class operation!
